The heavy rain at the wee hours of Sunday, 20th October, 2019 was not strong a barrier to prevent worshipers who have come to give praise to God on the occasion of the 2019 annual song anniversary of Progress Baptist Church, Surulere. The aura reflected the theme of the anniversary as everyone looked as though they have truly come to “GIVE HIM HIGH PRAISE”
The minister-in-charge, Revd James Ademola in his sermon encouraged the worshipers to follow King David’s advice in Psalm 98:1 “Oh, sing to the Lord, a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.” Pointing out reasons why we should praise the Lord, he emphasized on God’s marvelous deeds, His righteousness and that He(God) will eventually be the judge of the earth.
The media department join in rejoicing with the choristers and all members of Progress Baptist Church. As we give Him high praise today, may testimonies follow in Jesus’ name.
Amen. It was a great experience in God’s presence.
